Remote PC costs
What does a remote VPS system cost? Every business has specific needs, but here is a basic system to give you a general idea.
Every business has specific needs that must be assessed and reflected in the pricing. The following is an indicative example: request a tailored quotation for your requirements.
Basic system
Standard office use, up to 3–5 users
€24 /month + VAT
A maximum of 2 simultaneous remote desktop users, equivalent to €12 per user per month.
- CPU: 4 vCPU cores
- RAM: 8 GB
- Storage: 50 GB NVMe or 200 GB SSD
- 1 snapshot
- Operating system: Windows Server 2022
- Initial installation and configuration: €300 + VAT
Additional users
Each additional user requires a Microsoft terminal server CAL licence: a one-off €235 + VAT, plus €50 + VAT per user for CAL installation, in addition to the remote server's monthly cost.
As an alternative to CAL licences, you can purchase multiple virtual machines, one for every 2 users: the machines can share their files with one another.
Not included
Any additional software licences, such as Microsoft Office, antivirus and anti-malware software, are not included and must be assessed separately.
Free open-source software can always be used (except for antivirus software for Microsoft servers).
In brief: for 2 users, the cost is €24 + VAT per month, or €12 per user per month, plus €300 + VAT for initial installation and configuration.
