What data we collect

Browsing data

Like any website, the servers hosting this website automatically log certain technical data about visits: IP address, request date and time, page visited, browser type and operating system. These data are used only to ensure the website operates correctly and securely (for example, to detect abuse or cyberattacks). The hosting provider retains them only for as long as strictly necessary, and they are not used to identify visitors.

Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in website security and operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Data you send us

If you contact us by email, certified email, phone or WhatsApp, we use the data you provide (name, contact details and message content) only to reply and, if requested, to prepare a quotation.

Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data are retained for the time required to handle the enquiry and any subsequent relationship.

Cookies

The public pages do not use profiling cookies or analytics tools. The private feedback area uses a session cookie to manage access, forms and protection against unauthorised submissions.

The language selector stores only your Italian/English preference in your browser using localStorage (key demicons-language, value it or en). This preference is not sent over the network. You can remove it by clearing this website’s data in your browser settings.

Links to external websites

The website links to other websites and services, including our cloud applications (such as s@tXrkm, s@tXpulizie and the Crea Video Lyrics download repository), WhatsApp, Wikipedia and other third-party websites. When you open them, their own privacy notices apply.

Users of our software

The processing of data belonging to users of our subscription software is governed by the service agreement and associated notice, accepted upon activation (for s@tXrkm, see the agreement, general terms and privacy notice). We do not share your data with anyone and do not sell or transfer them to third parties for commercial purposes.

Who receives the data

Data may be processed on our behalf by the website hosting provider and email service providers, appointed as processors where necessary. Data are not publicly disclosed.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, or object to processing at any time (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@demicons.it or our certified email address demisrlbo@pec.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (https://www.garanteprivacy.it).

Private MIDI and KAR reports

The collaboration service for Crea Video Lyrics and olw-player collects the MIDI or KAR file you submit and the information you enter: product and version, description of the problem and expected result, position in the track, SoundFont, options and conversation messages. A user email address is not requested.

These data are stored internally on the service hosted by the website's hosting provider and used to analyse the case, reply and carry out internal tests. There is no public report list, and submission does not authorise public distribution of the files. To avoid duplicate copies in storage, the service calculates files' SHA-256 fingerprints: this comparison does not make other users' data accessible.

Reports are accessed through a personal link that you must save and keep private: anyone with the link can access that case. The service uses a session cookie necessary for private support to function.

Email notifications are sent only to the administrator and contain the report reference, event type and a link to the case; they do not include the MIDI/KAR file or the contents of the private conversation.

Data are retained for case analysis and internal testing. You can request deletion by writing to info@demicons.it, quoting the report reference.
